Triple Seven Vapor / 777eCigs – Vape Spotlight

We recently had the opportunity to make chat with the folks at Triple Seven Vapor about their business and some of the things they are doing to remain competitive. These guys really know what they’re doing when it comes to marketing their vape products and their customer service is top notch. We wanted to figure out some their strategies so that we could share them with our readers. Here’s what they had to say:

How do you generate sales in the super competitive e-cig industry?

We take a different approach than most online vape shops. We actually reach out to every customer that has placed an order to ask how their experience was and if they are happy with the product. We only get about 10-20% of our customers to respond but the data we collect during this process is valuable. It gives us an opportunity to refine our marketing strategy and it helps us determine which products people are happy with and which products we might need to drop from our inventory. Our Aspire Triton Mini Tank is one of the hottest sellers.

Are you using social media in your marketing efforts?

Absolutely! We use Facebook and Twitter to communicate with our customers and engage with them online. We have found that by commenting on posts and just engaging with our followers, we are able to get people who have shopped with us just once to come back and make a second purchase. We actually had one of our interns monitor our orders and our Facebook fans to see when our followers ordered. We found that a small percentage of people will actually place an order after we communicated with them directly on social media.

Where do you see the industry in say, two years?

Well that’s going to depend greatly on the government and what types of regulation they put in place. If we can keep the FDA from stomping us out I think we continue to see major growth. I think that product offerings will continue to expand and manufacturers will get more innovative. We are already seeing amazing innovation and I think as time goes on we will see more and more products that really push the limits of engineering.

Any advice for other vape shops?

Yes. Don’t get caught up in all the hype and drama in the industry. Just focus on serving your customers and offering quality products at fair prices. If you make a mistake, take responsibility for it and make it right. We see so many e-cig businesses who never want to admit that they make mistake. I mean, the customer isn’t always right but we should always give them the benefit of the doubt. If you piss off one customer they will go to Facebook and completely tarnish our reputation. It’s much more profitable to replace their product or give them a discount and keep them happy than to tell them to get lost and risk having them blast you on Facebook. Be good to your customers and you will succeed.
